Competitive Play is a
Game Mode in
Overwatch.
This game mode was disabled for the open beta and is being reworked for deployment sometime after the game's initial launch. In its initial stage it was available to players after reaching Level 25. It featured 5 tiers from Challenger to Heroic. Upon achieving Heroic players could see their global standings. The Competitive Play mode is slated to have monthly seasons with a reset at the end of the month. It is unknown how much the mode will alter once its final version is released to players.
