Halloween Terror is a Holiday Event in Overwatch.

The fright for the future has begun, heroes, and for the next three weeks, we're celebrating the spookiest time of the year in true Overwatch fashion—with a brand new seasonal event! Explore the haunted streets of Hollywood, expand your collection of themed holiday items, and relive a chilling tale in our first-ever PvE brawl: Junkenstein's Revenge!

Halloween Terror Dates

The Halloween Terror event runs from October 11th, 2016 to November 1st, 2016.

Halloween Terror Features

Starting today, all in-game Loot Boxes have been replaced with special glowing jack-o'-lanterns, and they will contain over 100 cosmetic additions. Any Loot Box you earn or purchase from now until the event is complete will contain at least one item from Overwatch's Halloween 2016 collection. The contents of the loot boxes are random but you can unlock some of the new options with credits in the Hero Gallery while the event is live. Anything earned is yours forever.
Players will also be able to participate in Overwatch's first-ever co-op PvE Brawl: Junkenstein's Revenge. 4 heroes will team up against Dr. Junkenstein, Junkenstein's Monster, the Reaper, a mysterious witch, and several zomnics. A digital comic called Junkenstein fleshes out the backstory of the event, providing a flavorful backdrop. Players will choose from the Alchemist (Ana), the Archer (Hanzo), the Gunslinger (McCree), or the Soldier (Soldier: 76) and defend Adlersbrunn castle's doors against Dr. Junkenstein's attacks and waves of zomnics.
